Hey everyone!
It has been a busy past two weeks. No, I didn’t disappear. I promise. Let me catch you up on the adventures, of yours truly, Fat Gamer.
I went on Vacation on August, 18th and returned to my southern Californian home on August 25th. Vacation was hard, let me tell you! Constantly finding yourself in out-of-your-control scenarios in regards to dining. I am pleased to announce that I didn’t gain a lb while on vacation. Though, I didn’t lose more than a couple lbs either. I am however proud of myself for maintaining and losing a couple. In the past, this sort of “outing” would have been my trigger to run off of the tracks. However, not this time around!
Soon after I returned from vacation, I had to play catch-up on my classes that had started on August, 24th. For those that do not know me beyond this web blog, I completed my Associates in Psychology from the University of Phoenix’s Axia College. I have now begun my quest for my BA in the same field. Busy. Busy. Busy.
Lindora has been great as always. I’m quite happy that I am doing the clinic option of the program, as the support from the staff is priceless. I am almost to a total of 80 lbs lost, go me! One of the things that I am still finding difficult is remembering to take my daily doses of vitamins. It’s too the point where I leave them on the bathroom sink the night before, so that I don’t miss them.
While I am updating this blog, I am enjoying one of my favorite protein shakes. Berry flavor. It’s true; it is in my opinion the best shake I have tasted from Lindora. Though, I have only tasted 3 flavors: Vanilla, Chocolate, and Berry. I am not a huge chocolate fan, or a sweet tooth for that matter, so chocolate takes a distant 3rd out of these flavors.
Anyone who is reading this, who also sticks to the Lindora regiment: are you heart-broken that they no longer have the kiwi-strawberry protein drink? I am! I bought the last box off the shelf only to find that it was of a discontinued flavor. Here is crossing my fingers that they bring it back again! It was delightful!
I’m getting my 10k steps in per day. I have decided that next week I’ll be upping my daily requirement of steps to 11k. I feel like I can do it, wish me luck!
Thanks again to all the private messages and e-mails of encouragement. Also for the questions, I am always willing to spend some time to answer questions in regards to Lindora and my personal journey using them to regain a normal life. I also wanted to give a big thanks to the public comments, etc.
Now that the summer is over, things will become more static. See you all in a couple of days!
Hey Everyone,
It’s been a long week! I started a new 10 week Lindora Program (clinic of course) this past Wednesday. I have lost 5 lbs since then and I feel great!
I have been trying a lot of new Lindora products. I am in love with the Yogurt Peanut Butter protein bars. I also love the berry shakes.
I have been getting my 10k steps daily, I find myself pushing until I get that goal.
In my last post I stated that I would be updating this blog on a daily basis. I realize now that most likely is not going to happen. I’m going to try and update every 2-3 days or more so if I have something to share or update everyone on.
I weighed in this morning at 379l bs, in my birthday suit of course. Clothes will add another 4-5 lbs when I weigh in tomorrow at Lindora.
I believe that being a clinic patient makes goals so much easier. During the “off time” I had between programs, I found that the lack of accountability was often very tempting. I am glad I am back on another program. I plan to do them until I reach my lean weight goal of 189lbs.
Thanks again for all the private messages and comments.
Till next time,
Fat Gamer
Hello everyone,
Hey all. I lost .5 lbs for this day. I only got in half my planned workout because it was my Sister In Law’s birthday. However, I stayed true and brought my own skinless chicken meal from El Pollo Loco to the party. Though, it was hard being around all the tacos and other good food.
Anyways, that’s it for this entry!
Hey everyone. Well, good news! I lost over the weekend and am no longer on a Plateau. Yesterday I completed my 2nd week on Lindora,I have lost a total of 23.2 LBS since starting Lindora.
Yesterday I did two 30 minute sessions on the treadmill and enjoyed a 35 minute walk with my wife and youngest daughter in the evening.I clocked in over 10k in steps on the pedometer.
For dinner, I enjoyed a lean taco salad for dinner. Lettuce, taco seasoned lean ground beef, a dash of fat free cheese and some onions and low-carb salsa. It tasted great. I felt satisfied.
That’s it for now! Thanks for reading.
Hey everyone. I have not updated since Thursday, my apologies for the delay. Friday I went into Lindora and was crushed to find out that I gained 1lb. I gained 1 lb while doing EVERYTHING right. It is indeed crushing. After the emotions wear off all you can do is pick yourself back up and brush yourself off. That is exactly what I did.
The nurse said I was experiencing my first plateau. This is what they call it when your body becomes stubborn and does not want to lose any weight. I hope that I am over it when I go into Lindora later today. If not, I get put on a special 3 day diet of.. blah.
I made it through the weekend without cheating or giving in to temptation. On Mother’s Day I went for a long walk with my wife. It was fun and I hope that we make a practice of doing it more often.
During the first 2 weeks of Lindora, I was rarely hungry. However, now I’m getting hunger more frequently and often. I hope it goes away again. Either way, I won’t be giving in.
I will post what my total weight loss is for the first two weeks later tonight or tomorrow morning after I have been into Lindora. Until then, thanks for reading!
Hey everyone. Today was a typical menu day. I did 2 sessions on the treadmill, 38 minutes each. I also did 2 15 minute sessions of resistance tube training. I lost 1.3 lbs since Day 22. At least a LB a day, that’s working for me.
This weekend is Mother’s Day. I survived a pizza party, now if I can just survive this, I’ll be happy. I still have no idea what the plans are for the weekend. Things tend to happen last minute in this family.
Things are starting to get harder, I plan to keep my chin up and march on forward, taking it one day at a time.
Total Weight Loss: 21.2 LBS
Protein day! I kind of like protein days. It feels as if I am jump starting my body for another round of fat burning. I get to eat a serving of protein every 90 minutes. I walked for an hour and did a stint on the treadmill as well! I pulled off 11686 steps as well.
I lost another 1.5 lbs when I went into Lindora. Slowly but surely this fat is going bye-bye.
I had some hunger pains but I worked through them like a champ!
That’s it for this entry.
Total Weight Loss: 19.9 LBS
Hey everyone. I have been increasing my walking and use of the treadmill. I feel great. I am worried I may be pushing my body too quick as it has been kicking and screaming in the form of muscle spasms in my back.
I lost 1.5 lbs. I also tried a Lindora Chef Salad. It is a total of 10 carbs and tastes pretty decent. This is a great option for people to just pick up after work if they are worried about preparing a proper meal. It does not cost anymore than a trip through a drive-thru.
I am starting to feel as if I am wearing a fat suit. Now that my stomach feels smaller because I am on the Lindora Plan, I feel as if I am in some sort of fat suit… just waiting to break out.
I have also noticed I have been thinking a lot clearer. It also helps to read the daily pages in the lindora book. However, I would like to see a book specialized for the 8+2 plan. I’ll be running out of daily readings half way through!!!!
Until next time!
Weight Loss So Far: 18.4 LBS
Hello. My computer crashed and I lost the entry that was suppose to be here. Sadly, In order to keep up I am just going to give a short run down.
My total weight loss for week 1 was 16.9 lbs. I followed my menu properly and did lots of treadmill and resistance training.
I am pretty ticked that I lost nearly 1000 words. Oh well, it happens I guess. That’s it for Day 20.
